The Iron Fist Original formula

Iron Fist Original is an isoamyl nitrite, more precisely 3-methylbutyl nitrite, a nitrous ester formed from iso-amyl alcohol. Its C5 carbon chain is branched (with a methyl group on carbon 3), which distinguishes it from the linear chain of n-pentyl.

It is the founding formula of the brand, produced continuously by PWD Factory since 1995. Nitration in acidic medium, purification by fractional distillation on high column, thermal stabilisation for extended storage in aluminium bottle.

Iron Fist Original is available in 10ml and 24ml, with the signature aluminium packaging featuring black triangles.

Difference between Iron Fist Original and Iron Fist Ultra Strong

Iron Fist Original and Iron Fist Ultra Strong are two structural isomers from the C5 nitrite family: five carbon atoms each, different molecular geometry.

Iron Fist Original is an isoamyl nitrite, branched C5 chain.

Iron Fist Ultra Strong is an n-pentyl nitrite, linear C5 chain.

Neither is "superior" to the other. The choice comes down to personal preference and individual experience.

Difference between Iron Fist Original and Iron Fist Flash

Iron Fist Flash is based on the same molecule as the Original: iso-amyl nitrite.

The difference lies in the nitration process: Flash uses an accelerated kinetics cycle with strict regulation, and final purification on granular activated charcoal. The lightning-yellow packaging signals this variation.

Original maintains the historic nitration pathway and its aluminium packaging with black triangles.
